Long Block or Semi-Loaded?
The standard long block provides the remanufactured engine assembly and listed internal components with a 3-year warranty. The Fraser Advantage semi-loaded package adds the oil pump, oil pan, timing cover and valley cover, along with 5-year coverage and one year of No-Fault protection.
The semi-loaded package is $500 more than the standard long block. Compare the included components and warranty coverage with your installer before choosing your replacement engine.
Year Range Is the Starting Point
When shopping for a 2015–2019 5.3L GM remanufactured engine, provide your vehicle's full VIN and selected configuration. Fraser verifies the application before shipment. The DOD/AFM-deleted engine is a separate configuration with its own included components, 3-year warranty and emissions notice. Confirm the intended application and programming requirements before ordering.

What does the semi-loaded option add to the standard long block?
The semi-loaded Fraser Advantage package includes an oil pump, oil pan, timing cover and valley cover. It also includes a 5-Year / Unlimited-Mile Parts & Labor Warranty with one year of No-Fault coverage free. The standard long block carries a 3-year warranty.
How do I select the correct engine on the order form?
Use the order button for your preferred package, then enter the full VIN, year range, configuration name and SKU on the shared form. For the deleted configuration, write “2015–2019 DOD / AFM Deleted — FEGM53DDL-G4.” Your selections will be verbally verified before payment is charged.
Does the DOD/AFM-deleted engine include the same warranty and covers as the semi-loaded option?
No. The deleted engine carries a 3-Year / Unlimited-Mile Parts & Labor Warranty and lists an oil pump and valley cover. The semi-loaded option carries a 5-year warranty with one year of No-Fault coverage free and also lists the oil pan and timing cover. Review the emissions notice and programming requirements before selecting the deleted build.
Does no upfront core charge mean I can keep my old engine?
No. A returnable core is still required. Fraser arranges commercial core pickup, and the applicable return requirements are confirmed with your order.
Are external accessories included with my engine?
Use the component list for your selected configuration. Do not assume unlisted accessories are included. Review the package with your installer and confirm the final shipped configuration with Fraser.
